Clarkson, 23, of Fairbanks, Alaska, died March 16, 2010, at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, of wounds sustained March 13 during combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Sgt. Clarkson was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Gregory M.W. Fleury

AlaskaCpl. Gregory M.W. Fleury, 23, of Anchorage, Alaska, died October 26, 2009, while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Cpl. Fleury was assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force, based out of Camp Pendleton, California.

Stenroos was assigned to the 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York.

Rogers was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (Airborne), 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy.

Daniel E. Woodcock

AlaskaSgt. Daniel E. Woodcock, 25, of Glennallen, Alaska, died March 11, 2007, in Ad Dawr, Iraq, of wounds suffered from a building explosion while on combat patrol. Sgt. Woodcock was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Fraser was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve’s 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. As part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he was attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward).
