Andrew J. Creighton

Sgt. Andrew J. Creighton, 23, of Laurel, Delaware, died July 4, 2010, in Oruzgan province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained on July 1 while conducting combat operations in Oruzgan province. Sgt. Creighton was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Travis L. Griffin

Staff Sgt. Travis L. Griffin, 28, of Dover, Delaware, died April 3, 2008, near Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. Griffin was assigned to the 377th Security Forces Squadron, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.

Elizabeth A. Loncki

Senior Airman Elizabeth A. Loncki, 23, of New Castle, Delaware, was killed January 7, 2007, by a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device while performing duties in the Baghdad area supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Loncki was assigned to the 775th Civil Engineer Squadron, Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Keith E. Fiscus

Sgt. Keith E. Fiscus, 26, of Townsend, Delaware, died December 2, 2006, in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during combat operations. Fiscus was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Carl Jerome Ware, Jr.

Airman 1st Class Carl Jerome Ware, Jr., 22, of Smyrna, Delaware, died July 1, 2006, from a non-combat related cause at Camp Bucca, Iraq. He was assigned to the 15th Security Forces Squadron, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Darren Harmon

Staff Sgt. Darren Harmon, 44, of Newark, Delaware, died in Haditha, Iraq, on June 3, 2006, from a non-combat related cause. Harmon was assigned to the Army Reserves 203rd Military Intelligence Battalion, 205th Military Intelligence Brigade, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Richard Z. James

Lance Cpl. Richard Z. James, 20, of Seaford, Delaware, died May 13, 2006, while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Cory L. Palmer

Cpl. Cory L. Palmer, 21, of Seaford, Delaware, died May 6, 2006, at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, from wounds received while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq, on May 1. He was assigned to the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

James S. Moudy

Sgt. 1st Class James S. Moudy, 37, of Newark, Delaware, died in Baghdad, Iraq, on December 11, 2005, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during combat operations. Moudy was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 71st Cavalry, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.

Ralph J. Harting, III

Capt. Ralph J. Harting III, 28, of Delaware, died April 29, 2005, in Diyarah, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated as he was conducting a traffic control point inspection. Harting was assigned to 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California.

Stephen M. McGowan

Cpl. Stephen M. McGowan, 26, of Newark, Delaware, died on March 4, 2005, in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol. McGowan was assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Fort Carson, Colorado.
