Santos was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Joe G. Charfauros, Jr.

Spc. Joe G. Charfauros, Jr., 33, of Rota, Mariana Islands, died June 20, 2007, in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Spc. Charfauros was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Leeroy A. Camacho

Spc. Leeroy A. Camacho, 28, of Saipan, Mariana Islands, died February 9, 2007, in Baqubah, Iraq, of wounds suffered from an explosion during breaching operations. Spc. Camacho was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

Wilgene T. Lieto

Staff Sgt. Wilgene T. Lieto, 28, of Saipan, Marianas Islands of the Pacific, died in Balad, Iraq, on October 31, 2005, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during patrol operations. Lieto was assigned to the Army Reserve’s 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry, 29th Brigade Combat Team, Barrigada, Guam.

Sgt. Yihjyh L. Chen, 31, of Saipan, Marianas Protectorate, died on April 4, 2004, in Baghdad, Iraq, when his unit was attacked with rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. Sgt. Chen was assigned to the Army’s 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
