Louis R. Torres

OhioSgt. Louis R. Torres, 23, of Oberlin, Ohio, died August 22, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, of wounds suffered when he encountered an enemy improvised explosive device on August 6 in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Sgt. Torres was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Bobby L. Estle

OhioSgt. 1st Class Bobby L. Estle, 38, of Lebanon, Ohio, died July 28, 2012, in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered from enemy, small arms fire. Sgt. 1st Class Estle was assigned to the 630th Engineer Company, 7th Engineer Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Drum, New York.

OhioStaff Sgt. Robert A. Massarelli, 32, of Hamilton, Ohio, died June 24, 2012, in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Staff Sgt. Massarelli was assigned to the 96th Transportation Company, 180th Transportation Battalion, 4th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Fort Hood, Texas.
